Arnold “The Climanator” Schwarzenegger, who successfully ran for the Governorship of “Kaw-Lee-For-Niah” in 2003, insisted he was a conservative Republican based on the politics of the Soviet Union and their late 1940s and 50s activities and occupation in specific areas of his home country of Austria. Yet, immediately after assuming office, he transitioned into ruling as a left-leaning liberal democrat.
Schwarzenegger has held an annual conference on climate change advocacy in Austria since 2017. In a Telegraph publication, using plenty of “F” bombs, Schwarzenegger thinks the problem with limiting climate change support is poor nomenclature.
He detests both the terms “climate change” and “net zero” and thinks it should be called “terminate pollutions”. While “net zero” refers to the balance between the amount of carbon dioxide that's produced by humans and the amount that's removed from the atmosphere, all in an effort to limit global warming to 1.5°C. While climate change is actually a self-explanatory term, and the definition of net zero does not take a brainiac to comprehend, these expressions, according to Schwarzenegger, are much too difficult for the commoner.
When it comes to dirty water, particulate-polluted air, garbage-strewn lands, and contaminants everywhere, then we need to “terminate pollutions”. But using that terminology to relate to climate change is quite mind-boggling. But then again, climate change advocacy, in its entirety, is mind-boggling – unless you are a politician searching for the title of savior.
The article extols Schwarzenegger’s environmental virtues while California’s Governor. That being the case, as he believes, he should be absolutely furious with the state’s current administration and their state of affairs.
Schwarzenegger’s concludes the Telegraph interview with “Environmentalists – their heart is in the right place and I’m very fond of their work, but their communication skills really suck.” I would suggest the “maidinator”, after all his decades in the US, but still employing his strong accent, his communication skills suck, as well.
