The US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is at its lowest level since 1983 or 40 years ago. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm has said it could take years to replenish the SPR’s 714 million barrels which are in holding tanks located in Texas and Louisiana. At the same time, Saudi Arabia and other major OPEC oil producers have decided to cut oil production by 1.15 million barrels per day.

Further, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman met in Riyadh recently to talk about the trade for energy. As an auxiliary condition plainly intended to hurt the West, their agreements were not to use the US dollar, which up until now, has been considered the world’s reserve currency. The agreement even talks of teaching the Chinese language.
We also just found out that the high-altitude Chinese “weather balloon” as almost everyone suspected was, in fact, a “spy balloon”, sending pictures, video, and military intelligence, in real-time back to China. The balloon would actually take multiple passes over US military sites, often using figure eight formations. It was alarmingly allowed to fly over the entire United States before being shot down off the coast of South Carolina.
To further complicate the situation with China, Xi Jinping, and Russia’s tyrant leader Vladimir Putin have been holding hands of late as “dear, dear friends”.
Taking all of these things into consideration, as well as the gratuitous and foolish war the administration has on fossil fuels, coupled with the customary rise of gas prices during the summer months and adding in sky-rocketing inflation, Americans, and in most all cases, Canadians will have an arduous struggle going to work or taking a distant vacation.
The ability to obtain power or endeavor to obtain power through the suffering of others seems to be a sadistic goal of progressive politics. All of these issues culminate around the continued deception of anthropogenic climate change and the eco-politicians and green activists’ incessant need for the survival of a highly-controversial theory.
