The days of research papers endeavoring to prove anthropogenic climate change as scientific veracity are now very few if any. According to the advocates, those days have evolved into decisive and determined proclamations that it’s just factual, and as for refuters and doubters, get over yourself.
Progressive governments, green bureaucrats, and activist scientists rely on human characteristics such as apathy, confirmation bias, and the incessant marketing by media to give the impression that anthropogenic climate change is, without question, an authoritative, bona fide crisis.
Aldous Huxley, an English writer, and philosopher once said, “The greater part of the population is not very intelligent, dreads responsibility, and desires nothing better than to be told what to do. Provided the rulers do not interfere with its material comforts and its cherished beliefs, it is perfectly happy to let itself be ruled.” First, of all, I have never heard people referred to as “it” as often as in this quote, and, if this is accurate, the people’s material comforts are certainly being confiscated, so we should see them provoked and in an uproar as soon as the majority internalize the degradation or demise being caused by the political deception of climate change.
In the interim, what this allows the activist scientific community to do is significantly more lucrative. Now using their opinion of consensus, they produce research papers on the dreadful impacts of climate change now, but as well, into the future. Taking for granted that human-induced climate change is a reality, it opens up a whole world of potential funding with so many more related hypotheses. It essentially accelerates a limitless array of research and study opportunities. The only stipulation for continuation in funding is to always conclude the research in an absolutely negative light.
Reading an article that’s three years old now from Columbia University’s Climate School called, “10 Climate Change Impacts That Will Affect Us All”, it includes:
· Higher electric bills and more blackouts
· Rising taxes
· More health risks
· Food will be more expensive and variety may suffer
· Outdoor exercise and recreational sports will become more difficult
· Disruptions in travel (referring mostly to air travel)
Did Columbia have a prophetic professor?
These detrimental issues are happening now, not as a result of climate change, but of a government that wants total control over its people through the alarmist marketing of the theory. Thus, we feel the effects, but not from the cause they express.
Higher energy bills and more blackouts are a result of endeavoring to replace traditional hydrocarbon fuels with renewable sources that are intermittent, unreliable, weather dependent, and excessively expensive. These are the gratuitous antidotes that put many in peril and into a very precarious future.
There are numerous studies that identify reductions in the harvest of every food crop imaginable however statistics from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) disprove each and every such claim. In a real twist of duplicity, the United Nations itself sought more funding to tackle a specific Central American food crisis that its own agency disproved. I link that story.
The professor did not have to predict Covid under the “more health risks” prophecy since the Columbia article and outbreak occurred around the same time, but now that the final tallies seem to be arriving, we discover that the vaccines, masks, lockdowns, and other detrimental dictates on the world’s economies did not work and the constant claims of factual and observational science by the World Health Organization (WHO) the National Institute of Health (NIH) and Anthony Fauci demonstrate why governments cannot be trusted. Their science is always and forever politically partisan.
Of course, the most significant health hazard associated with climate change is the disease of eco-anxiety contracted by people who are terrified by the promotion of the theory and the cataclysmic events that are being politically promoted and bankrolled.
Air travel of course is excruciating these days based on vaccine mandates, enactments of the government’s climate change policies, and the hurriedness, alacrity, and anxiety of travelers to see or get to a destination before more restrictions and limitations arrive.
The funding for climate change is colossal, but it is not intended to prove the human-generated global warming theory - that will never happen. It’s now an exercise in marketing, funding large-scale renewable energy production and systems, furnishing credits for wealthy electric car buyers, and providing monies to marginalized communities as determined by ‘wokeologists’ and progressive campaigners for the idiocy of environmental justice.
