How Sweden it is!
As the coronavirus gained traction in the early stages of 2020, governments around the globe began to decree rigorous rules and mandates, increasing their severity as time went on. This, despite many questions regarding the true ills and harshness of the pandemic. In many cases, people were arrested for doing routine tasks as well as everyday outdoor activities. Facilities and services, with the exception of those deemed essential, were closed, and publicly-funded schools were shut down. The economies of most countries have yet to fully recover.
This occurred in almost all prominent nations, except one, the Kingdom of Sweden. This Scandinavian country of 10½ million fully opposed the rigid trends and lockdowns of other nations and remained fully open, merely advocating for the elderly to remain out of public areas and typical larger communal gatherings. Despite this, Sweden fared much better than most countries.
Seems the land of Abba, Ikea, and Smörgåsbords is doing it again. In an article entitled, “Sweden Dumps Climate Agenda, Scraps Green Energy Targets”, Swedish Parliament, Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson has established that Sweden requires a stable energy system and because wind and solar power are too “unstable”, they will be abandoning that traditional political quest for renewable energies.
The linked story calls this a major blow to unreliable and inefficient technology as well the globalist agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF). It has become a robust affront and challenge to the green agenda “pushed by the United Nations, the World Health Organization (WHO), Paris Climate Agreement, World Bank, and Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration”.
Sweden will be now focusing on nuclear energy because as Svantesson claims, “We need more electricity production, we need clean electricity and we need a stable energy system.” Nuclear energy as I have urged and advanced for the last two decades is not only sound, constant, and stable, but also emits no carbon dioxide. Furthermore, nuclear energy is a constant feed for any grid, eliminating any need for battery storage and the facilities for its mass production.
The story says, “Svantesson also sent a warning to other Western nations who are blindly pushing to meet the energy requirements of the WEF’s green agenda and that, “In substantial industrialized economies only a gas to the nuclear pathway is viable to remain industrialized and competitive.” The use of renewable energies which can never deliver the needed energy for a power-demanding world is advanced by those who wish to annihilate economies and cause suffering, torment, and significant mortality upon the masses.
One would think that, as I have repeated ad nauseam, nuclear energy is the one truly reliable energy that emits no carbon dioxide and thus is the perfect compromise for those who falsely believe that CO2 is a gactual control knob of climate. Now, what you can expect to see is a rash of vitriol against Sweden, which will clearly point out the purposeful, progressive politicization of the climate.
It has never been about the climate – the forged statistics and stories are merely theatrics to sell the public on globalism, authoritarian control, and socialism.
