Rules by and Rulers of Spurious Statistics

It would appear there are very similar circumstances surrounding this summer’s much-publicized Canadian wildfires in Quebec and Nova Scotia, as well as those in the islands of Greece and Hawaii and it’s not climate change as the legacy media would so covet all to believe, but rather the insanity of arson.

Santa Climate and his environmental elves have been extra busy this summer handing out gory gifts of fear and anxiety. The El Niño and other periodic and cyclical conditions have made it a warmer summer and the frigidity of the winter just a few months previous must be erased. This summer season, for climate campaigners, is the literal embodiment of the old English proverb, “Make hay while the sun shines”.

Progressives, it seems, irrespective of ideological perspective or utopian ideal detest true, bona fide history. They do not want anyone to have the ability to acquire historical comparisons - not even from such sources as the affable and acclaimed Dr. Seuss. If history must be introduced, then they will magically conceptualize it and they will write it. Historical climate and past changes in climate are no exception.

Yet we find each condition, situation, and circumstance rife with inaccuracies, escalation, and aggrandizement. It almost feels like an exhaustive “last-ditch effort” - a final opportunity to instill sufficient fear to do something democratically engaged or representative of the people, before the heavy-handed, authoritarian climate gavel has ultimately struck its dictatorial blow.

Maybe, to put it over the top, it needs just a little more fictitious COVID-style statistics. At last count, 40% of the deaths in the US attributed to COVID were falsely recorded. That death count in the future analysis will likely be proven conservatively modest. However, and erroneously, these statistics kept the lockdowns intact, the schools closed, the masks on, the vaccines pumping, and all of the other restrictions and restraints most now know were unnecessary and avoidable.

So what is the Whitehouse devising at present, “a system for tracking heat-related illnesses nationwide” and is “considering additional measures amid pressure to do more to help Americans deal with the crippling summer heat.” In this matter you can be assured of two things, like COVID, illnesses, and deaths will be excessively tallied, while the added measures will be extended into perpetuity despite any changes to weather - drastic, mundane, or otherwise. The only action to annul these measures will be a change of government and a return to climate normalcy.

This is just another political action to heighten the public into further climate submission. It is understandable that politicians want to feign themselves into the role of the people’s saviors - this is an essential progressive ingredient for vote acquisition. It is akin, as the late American journalist, essayist, and cultural critic, H.L. Mencken said, “The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule it.”
