SPF One Million
In October of 2022, I wrote an article called, “Honey, Money and Seafood”, which included the ‘warning’ placard captured at the conclusion of this article. Of this notification, I wrote, “As soon as someone sees this, the first thought will be that human-induced climate change must have assuredly been the cause of this action” and “The reality is that all seven species of these bees are yellow-faced bees and all of them are located exclusively in Hawaii. The reason for their decline is, in fact, the fault of humans - the destruction of habitat because of urbanization, nonnative animals especially livestock, the introduction of foreign plant species, and the transplantation of nonnative predators.”
When humans permeate countries, areas, or regions with uncontrolled nonnative flora and fauna destructive problems and predicaments are bound to occur. While there are many, a specific problem with flora in the USA is the introduction of the spotted knapweed to the USA in the 1890s and now we spend millions in attempted eradication.
There are many additional examples, but the issue is that nonnative fauna and flora have no natural enemies, and as well no fauna eats the foreign flora, in their new home and this has a tendency to exponentially become a much larger problem.
When man foolishly introduces an unusual, alien item into a foreign environment, especially without much experimentation, comprehensive thought, or resolute cause, troubles can abound. In my blog, “Opening up the Egocentric Flood Gates” I stated, “In collaboration with Gates (Bill) Harvard University scientists were contemplating a sun-dimming system that would mute a certain amount of sunlight from reaching the earth. Known as the Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment, these scientists were going to place small particles of calcium carbonate using a steerable balloon into the atmosphere. It was planned that, in time, the chemical would be introduced into the full atmosphere, dimming sunlight worldwide. Thankfully this foolishness never materialized”.
Both Gates and Harvard came to the ultimate conclusion that this may be going much too far, but nothing is beyond the eco-maniacal contemplation of the Biden administration, who according to the linked story has not ruled out “Solar Radiation Modification” (SRM) which is essentially the fractional sun block method contemplated in the above paragraph. The story asserts, “The congressionally mandated report released by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on Friday shows that the team has been researching "geoengineering" methods to keep the sun rays from accelerating global warming.”
Now, one misinformed, deluded climate activist might say, but we are introducing a new carbon dioxide into the environment by burning fossil fuels. However, a CO2 molecule, whether released naturally by volcanoes, the breath of animals, or plant decay, has the exact same molecular structure as that which is released by burning fossil fuels, wood, or essentially any fuel. Nature cannot distinguish the origin of a carbon dioxide molecule and furthermore, historical analysis from proxies like ice cores tells us that the earth, at times has had up to 7000 parts per million of CO2, versus the configuration of today’s atmospheric content of 420 – of which only a very minute portion is resultant of human activity.
It is truly amazing that elitist leaders could be thinking of this perilous, callow venture, for an unproven theory, yet are in complete opposition to the tried and true power supply provided by non-CO2-emitting nuclear energy.
