Who Truly Divides the Populace?
Near the concluding segments of the movie, “Am I a Racist”, is a Thomas Sowell quote “Racism is not dead, but it is on life support – kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as ‘racists’.” After viewing and assessing the movie, never was a quote proven more factual and true than this one.
What amazed me about the movie are the similarities between race peddling and the marketing of anthropogenic climate change. All the people who considered themselves race centrist or working at eradicating themselves of racism received their indoctrination and training from left-leaning mainstream television, books, or a blind faith in progressive politics.
With an 84% chance of turning to a television channel hosted by progressive liberals, or newspapers written by their same type, chances of exposure are pretty good. If independence and autonomy of thought and reason are poor, chances are even better. As further exposed in the movie, the current federal government is complicit in race-baiting.
The race hustlers on this show are white anti-racist scholar-practitioner and facilitator Kate Slater, a Buddhist chaplain named Breeshia Wade, a dinner with Saira Rao and Monica Jackson, and Robin D’Angelo, the author of White Fragility. Rao said she hates America and wants to burn it all down and all Republicans are Nazis.
There is also the appearance of a race activist from the University of Arizona and a mother of two daughters who didn’t get a high five from the Sesame Street character Rosita during a parade. In the latter case, the mother did not know whether the person dressed as the Sesame Street character was white or not. The assumption, correctly or incorrectly, was simply made.
The amount of money to get these people to instruct and lecture about racism or consent to an interview on the subject they are supposedly proficient in was staggering.
The verbiage used by the race hustlers everywhere is carefully chosen to embed feelings of racial injustice and remorse, that unless you can dissociate and distance yourself from the truth you swallow their objectives wholeheartedly. Once the emotion sets in, one gets a feeling of gratification, self-esteem, and pride, irrespective of how false it may be.
And who is, as the critics state, at fault with this entire charade? Matt Walsh the conservative creator and actor in the movie!
Walsh is condemned at every turn as detailed in the review by Book and Film Globe. Despite the movie getting a 99% viewer rating, critics overwhelmingly refuse to provide a critique or are shamelessly negative to its maker.
Anthropogenic climate change fits perfectly into this same narrative where left-leaning mainstream television and blind faith in progressive politics push the theory and avoid all contradictory scientific evidence – no matter how robust. Proponent scientists make a lot of money and some even attain celebrity status while constantly appearing as “experts” on progressive networks.
They deride and ridicule all opposition, citing blindly that they are all “on the take” from gas and oil companies – yet, I know of no one that gets funded by this industry. The work of honest scientists is constantly “gaslighted”, or is it “gaslit”, by the mainstream media including the giants of social media.
So how do they get away with it? Reading the Daily Caller column on a survey by “Populace Research/YouGov” entitled, “Majority Of Americans Admit To ‘Self-Silencing’ On Hot Button Issues, Survey Reveals” explains “The vast majority of Americans, 90%, are privately on the “same side” of roughly two-thirds of political issues . . . ”, but the majority are self-silencing in what is thought to be a most-divisive society.
The people are not as divided as American leadership and news disseminators make one believe – they are merely scared to iterate or internalize their true and honest beliefs. However, for certain politicians continuance of the partition is essential for career survival and continued power.
