How many illegal immigrants (you can say undocumented if you wish) came into the USA in the last 3½ years, essentially because of an open, relatively unprotected border? Depending on who one talks to, the number ranges from 10 million to 22 million. Only two states have populations over 22 million, those being New York and Texas. Forty of the states have less than 10 million.
There are 11 states that have declared sanctuary status for illegal immigrants and many more sanctuary cities within those states. All these cities are now clamoring to see who can be first in line at the complaint department. Sanctuary in this case is a location that limits or denies its cooperation or enforcement of federal or state immigration laws.
Politicians, advocate scientists, and climate change campaigners state that migrants are forced to relocate because of climate change and the inability to grow an adequate food supply. I have addressed the fallacy of these charges as they relate to the southern border of the USA in the articles, A Saturday Short – The Climate Crossing as well as Flawed Data - Climate Computer Food and others.
People arrive on the southern border because of violence, organized crime, and systemic corruption in their native lands, but progressive politicians persistently use the food shortage due to climate change as justification. However, all one has to do is review agriculture records from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) to see that this is not true.
Politically, however, left-leaning politicians assume that:
1. Population growth in specific areas will require the redistributing and relocating of electoral maps. As described in the linked story from The Brennan Center, “Once a decade, the Constitution requires the reallocation of congressional seats among states based on the results of the latest census, a process called reapportionment.
2. Those politicians offering illegal immigrants legal status and other benefits assume they will benefit from the voting after the reapportionment detailed in the above paragraph.
Open borders are not intended to embrace, facilitate, or assist humanity, they are meant to acquire and preserve political power.
Relative to human migration from Africa, The Telegraph, a British news publication’s headline reads, “Climate change is already forcing millions of people to migrate – and it will only get worse.”
The article also conveys the spread of infectious diseases as the northward migration begins stating, “With climate change and climate disasters affecting populations at an increasingly alarming rate, the sudden displacements and long-term migrations that they cause could have devastating consequences for the distribution and burden of infectious diseases.”
It spawns thoughts of Christopher Columbus coming to America in 1492 and spreading European diseases to the native populations of the Americas. As a result, modern woke protests ensue for the abolishment of Columbus Day on the second Monday in October each year.
In this case, it states that malaria, dengue, and cholera are likely to spread. “HIV and TB can also flourish.” Of course, malaria and dengue have been eradicated in many parts of the world including the United States and Canada. The diseases were eradicated in the late 1940s. I first covered this in my article “Decrees of Illogicality and Absurdity”.
But in the case at hand climate change is blamed for causing a food crisis. Again we can turn to the UNFAO for verification as well as other organizations for all the facts in this matter. Fortunately, I don’t have to do that since Paul Homewood of “Not A Lot of People Know That” covers it.
The historical graphs in that article cover Africa’s agriculture, death rates from malnutrition, life expectancy, and gross domestic product.
Awesome article again Ron! Especially the last link about Gates and Bezo's little getaway Birthday Party. Sickening really!
